Bon Odori is a traditional summer festival of japanese which they honor their ancestors who have passed on, remember and appreciate all their ancestor have done for them. Bon Odori also known as Obon. This event held at Publika start from 4pm to 10pm. We reached there around 9pm, abit too late.
The main activity is people dancing and the japanese traditional song to liven up the event. People just join the circle and dancing around the stage.
Many festival goers dress in Japanese Kimono and Yukata. On that day, with 2 of my friends and Robert. 4 of us were discussing what is the difference between Yukata and Kimomo. My friend claimed that Yukata is for man and Kimono is for women, but as what I know for my knowledge, Yukata is for women as well. Yukata actually has the same basic construction as kimono which is made from cotton and usually worn to the summer festival. Yukata have fewer variations than kimono, the collor are never wide or layered according to my research.
This event also features Japanese food booths and refreshment. Picture taken is not much because Me and Robert were searching around for food and end up eating Fat Boy Burger.
There is fireworks during that night, as the schedule, it suppose to show on 10pm sharp but they make it earlier maybe because of the drizzling. Both of my friend went to somewhere else, unfortunately they missed out the fireworks session. However, me and Robert just ordered our food before the fireworks started. Then both of us ran outside for the fireworks. It was drizzling on that night. HEHE, not bad, a replacement of watching fireworks since not able to watch during Merdeka. At the moment, I got a fantasy of both of us watching fireworks at the hilltop and only both of us xDDD "wake up Summer~~ WAKE UP!!!" LOL

Favourite on that night for both of us, maybe because of we were on diet, so salad is perfect for us.
Besides, I love the service @ Fat Boy Publika. I just dropped my knife on the floor, they replace another right after, the service was efficient. The waiter there serve really well. After we finished our dinner, they ask for how is everything going on, is it good and so on. Conclusion, I like how they train their waiter, thumbs up for them.

A long promise that made by Robert since the first date before we couple, he said to bring me for nachos till today both of us been together for almost 2 months. BUT...the jalapenos is too spicy ><"
